Pay me!

I really wish my boss would pay me on time for once. Its Friday and supposed to be payday but my boss can't pay me until Monday because she forgot and now she doesn't have time...Is that illegal? It should be. Happy Halloween bekah, hope you have fun being sober because you don't have money to support your drinking habits!

TGI Thursday!

Its been a busy week for me but after midnight tonight I will be free! I finished my last html project last night and today I will take a spanish test and do my workbook and then I am done! Hooray!

As many of you know, Max and I are not the most motivated people. We would much rather sit around and play video games or read a good book instead of making halloween costumes. Last night we had a discussion and decided that the Monarch and Dr Girlfriend are out and 1950's couple is in. I am going to make a pie and wear a vintage dress and an apron and Max will be sporting a lovely cardigan, a bowtie and a manly pipe. Being a super villain is just too hard but being a 1950's houswife...thats just practice for later! Right? LOLZ!

This is Max and I with our daughter Francine. We just sat down to the dinner I just cooked. Our dog Rex is begging for food...silly dog. Whiskers the cat is hiding under the table, he is a much smarter begger. Oh and its also 6 p.m. sharp. I also had a cocktail ready for Max the moment he walked in the door(he had a hard day at the office). I am such a good wife!

Ok, I am annoyed with my job...time to blog it out!

Everyday when I get to work there is a 2-3 inch stack of papers on my desk. These papers are old insurance forms that are already in the system, scanned in by the last poor sap who worked here. My boss thinks I am retarded and makes me scan them in again. I do it anyway cuz it makes it look like I am working when really I am writing blogs and playing tetris. As long as I appear to be busy she is happy. Today I got to work and there was another stack of papers, larger than usual. This morning I finished all of them and I was so happy cuz I hate scanning papers. Why? Because I have to start the program, look up the account then walk over to the scanner, walk back to my desk. I have to do this for every single paper. That means that I get up and walk to and from my desk about 100 times a day. Anyway, I finished them in record time and it made me so happy.

Well, I got back from lunch and lo and behold there is another ginormous stack for me to scan! Shoot me! I am trying so very hard to do it right now, but I can't bring myself to get up and use the scanner. It wouldn't be so bad if it were right next to my desk...but its not.

Another thing thats annoying: We close the office from 12-1 for lunch. I leave and go eat lunch(normal, right?). My boss leaves and does god knows what then comes back at 1 and eats a michelina's microwave meal. What does she do on her lunch break? And why does she have to make the whole office smell like ass?

Also, the microwave isn't working now and my coffee is cold...I hate cold coffee.

A Little Excitement

Across the street from my office is a Harley Davidson repair shop. On most days I work to the rhythm of the motorcycle engine (vroom). Today I noticed a movement in my peripheral. I look over and see the mechanics truck backing into the street, straight for our building. I didn't think much of it (I just thought he was driving his car). The truck backs up and bounces off our curb and travels into the street a little and just stops. Well, I still thought that this was all on purpose so I just ignored it and went back to work. The guy that has an office in the back comes out and asks me whats going on. I look over and notice that the truck is still in the street and there is no driver at the wheel. So Jerry(office guy) goes over to the motorcycle shop and tells them that their truck has wandered into the street. All 4 mechanics come outside...Do you really need 4 people to move one truck? Anyway, the truck was moved back to its parking spot but I was about 2 ft. away from a nice breeze in my office. Above is a terrible picture from my cell phone.

Bored...as usual.

In other news: I became addicted to Final Fantasy 7 over the weekend and am playing it every chance I get. I think this annoys Max because I make him play it with me (even tho it is a single player game :-P).
